Cortina - city with italian flair
Situated in the Dolomites (the "Dolomiti Ampezzane") at an elevation of 1,211 meters above sea-level, Cortina d'Ampezzo is perhaps one of the most-famous Italian vacation spots. Cortina was the site of the 1932 Alpine Ski World Championship and the 1956 Olympic Winter Games as well as the filming location of numerous movies (James Bond, Cliffhanger, The Pink Panther, etc.).
